With a mix of German and English traditions throughout the day there was lots of laughter (and tears) to celebrate this fabulous couples special day.
Kerstin chose a colour scheme of deep reds and ivory for her flowers, decorations and bridesmaids and along with the hotel's Christmas decorations the rooms looked very festive.
A vintage bus came to the hotel to pick us all up - and the bride and groom chose to travel back with us all on the bus too which was great!

The dress that Kerstin got from Germany was exquisite - I loved the lace details and the way the veil hung in perfect folds as she said her vows.
Everyone had their own menu as a place setting - and in their own language too :)
I love this - three canvas boards that all the guest could sign for the bride and groom - with the words in German to add that personal touch (and to offer the happy couple luck and happiness)
This was a magical day for everyone - especially for the gorgeous bride and groom - who were obviously completely smitten with each other :)

I met Kerstin at a fabulous wedding fair organised by The Wedding Affair at the York Marriott.
